It’s probably as good as you are going to get from a post-recording track laid on top of a full mix with no bass. Unfortunately, we will never know how this album could have truly sounded. The recording engineer did an interview stating that even if Metallica tried to remaster the album with the bass lines intact it wouldn’t be feasible because the original tapes had so many splices done during the mastering that they are probably shredded and decayed at this point. All we can do is listen to this and use our imagination to form our own perfect mix in our head.
